nrg Walks

nrg Walks aims to make it safe for youth to walk and bike to and at school. The program is designed for youth, grades K-8.

nrg Walks offerings include:

• Five days of easy-to-implement classroom activities
• nrg Walks Challenge - a school-wide competition that encourages classroom teachers to get their students walking during International Walk to School Week, with the chance to compete for prizes
• Downloadable resources and templates

nrg Walks is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration.
