The nrgBalance movement offers three annual events that promote healthy snacking (Apple Crunch), well-balanced meals (Go for the Greens) and outdoor play (Move it Outside).
With online promotional templates, activity ideas and resources, we provide a ready-made package for promoting healthy eating and active living in a community near you.

nrg Walks aims to increase walking to and at school among youth, grades K-8. Designed for schools, nrg Walks offerings includes one week of easy-to-implement activities to use in the classroom; a school-wide challenge that encourages classroom teachers to get their students walking during International Walk to School Week, with the chance to compete for a large prize; and a variety of downloadable resources and templates.

nrg Powered by Choice empowers teens to create and lead changes that support healthy eating and active lifestyles in their schools and communities. A grassroots movement steeped in the teen world of online communication, nrg Powered by Choice gives teens an opportunity to play an integral role in communicating what they believe will make healthy easy. The nrgBalance Zone Campaign is an annual program that recognizes Pennsylvania schools and community recreation centers that commit to improving healthy eating and physical activity options for today's youth.
Enrolling in the nrgBalance Zone Campaign is as simple as completing an online enrollment form, which enables schools (public and private, K-12) and community recreation centers (with after school youth programs) to assess and benchmark progress on health and wellness practices.
