nrg Outdoors is designed to improve outdoor recreation skills, promote the use of parks and trails, and improve conservation practices among youth and families.
The program equips physical education teachers to:
TEACH: active outdoor recreation skills to youth through lessons plans and a two-week challenge
CONNECT: youth to outdoor parks, trails, and events
CONSERVE: promote environmental stewardship
